Cebu International School

Cebu International School, founded as the American International School of Cebu in 1924, the school was renamed in 1973. It is a co-educational day school, non-profit, non-sectarian institution, governed by a ten-member Board of Trustees. In School Year 2007-08, Cebu International School attained full international accreditation through the Council of International Schools (CIS), the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), the East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS), as well as PAASCU and DepEd accreditation within the Philippines. The fact that Cebu International School is the only school in the Philippines that is accredited with all three organizations means that we hold a unique position within the spectrum of education offerings in the Philippines. Cebu International School is an IB World School, offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. English is the language of instruction. The school contains students of about 20 nationalities including Korean, American, Filipino, Australian.

House Activities Day

Cebu International School has various of activities besides just sports, students will get to wear their P.E. uniform during this day. This day will move all their classes to the morning. Once at 12pm, all students and teachers must wear their P.E. uniform, or as called House Colors. These House Colors are divided into 4 different colors Acacia (Green), Mahogany (Red), Molave (Yellow), and Narra (Blue). Currently they will compete against other houses to claim the win. There are 3 house sports for School Year 2011-12. Plus Sinulog will be added, so there are 4 opportunities for the house's to win. Once at the year end of the school, the house team that has the most number of points, will be the champions of School Year 2011-12. This school year, Molave, are now the defending champions by winning over the teams in this order: Molave, Acacia, Narra, Mahogany (1st-4th).

-Molave will be 4th place
